What to expect
Tension is a women’s* strength training studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We offer small-group strength training led by certified personal trainers. Every workout fits into a progressive training cycle designed for sustainable progress. Classes build on each other so that members perfect their form, learn effective lifting technique, and increase their muscle mass. The studio prioritizes functional training, performance based results, and a supportive community to help members build real-world strength and confidence for everyday life.

At Tension, we keep classes small so you can actually talk to your instructor and nail your form. You'll master progressive movements that build serious muscle and bone density in 50 minutes flat.
Each class targets a different muscle group to help you develop balanced, functional strength without excessive soreness, so you can train consistently and see real, lasting results.
